Loss of a Leader

crossmediaarticles, Uncategorized1 Comment

In today’s world great leadership can be hard to find.

Today we mourn the loss of a great leader; Dr Myles Munroe and his wife and daughter.

Dr Munroe was a prolific, writer, speaker, author and preacher. His work touched Millions including believers and non-believers alike.  He lived a life of purpose and was renowned for saying:

“I want to die empty, not full having used everything he [God’ gave me while I was on earth.”

Today as leaders can we say the same?

May he and the others of the plane crash rest in piece and may his life, not his death, be our focus…an inspiration to us all.

  1. It is so easy to wallow in grief, but let us not mourn as those who have no hope. I thank God for the work Myles Munroe was able to do while he was here; for all of the lives he was able to influence and change. He knew God’s purpose for his life – and that purpose permeated everything he did – everyday. What a testimony! So many of us never figure out our purpose – far less to make that purpose (and He who gave it) our compass.
